FUNKTION LIVE 2008 Part 7 Act 1

FUNKTION LIVE 2008 is once again proud to present May’s featured guests at the intimate and friendly surroundings of one of Leeds’ premier live music venues Carpe Diem. That’s right, we will once again be on hand to provide that funky new PARTY vibe with some of the friendliest staff in Leeds, drink promotions galore and the best funk, soul and jazz acts of the region to keep you fully engaged all evening. The seventh part of FUNKTION LIVE promises to be another special event to remember that’s for sure with Yorkshire’s very own, soulful acoustic act, The Freewheel, the raucous funk rockers from South Yorkshire, The Shift, the uplifting and charismatic York jazz funksters, Mr Parker, the sensational and highly talented seventeen piece Garforth Jazz & Rock Band and finally Leeds College Of Music’s very own amazing, original jazz funk, instrumentalists 11th Floor.

So after our incredibly well received event last month here at Carpe Diem we‘ve decided to do it all over again, so we’re preparing ourselves in earnest to welcome you all back to FUNKTION LIVE’S, funky little haven for some down right, naughty shenanigans at Carpe Diem here in Leeds. This event is a little preview of what you can expect at our spiritual home at the Library, on the last Sunday of the month ladies and gentlemen, so make sure you strut on down to Leeds‘ hottest FREE night to date!
