Christmas Lights turning on ceremony in Bond Street, London

In 2007 the Bond Street lights were turned on by British supermodel/author/actress Sophie Dahl on 22 November 2007.
A girl from Great Ormond's Street Hospital also came on stage.
Money raised by the event was donated to this children's charity.


As if by magic, snow fell down upon the crowd

Children's entertainers performed, and even Father Christmas was there

Musicians performed on the street

In nearby Bruton Street is Stella McArtney's shop
