Christmas Lights turning on ceremonies in Oxford Street, London

In 2011 the Oxford Street lights switch-on event was on Tuesday 1 November 2011 at 5pm.
The stage was set up outside Marks & Spencer's Marble Arch store.
The event was hosted by Heart presenter Toby Anstis, wearing a suit provided by Marks & Spencer's.
The crowd sang "Santa Claus is coming to town", to be featured as part of the ITV appeal and show Text Santa: http://www.itv.com/textsanta

Stage entertainment was provided by:

- Richard Fleeshman (from the musical Ghost: http://www.ghostthemusical.com), who performed the song:
